William Fred Timmerman
October 11, 1930 - June 8, 2014

William Fred Timmerman, Layton – William Fred Timmerman passed away June 8, 2014 at McKay Dee Hospital. He was born October 11, 1930 in Ogden the son of Rachael Anna Rose and Fred H. Timmerman. He honorably served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He married his high school sweetheart, Adell Wheeler on April 28, 1950 in Ogden, one year later they were sealed in the Logan LDS Temple. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He retired from Questar after many years of service. He was a member of the Weber County Search and Rescue Jeep Patrol for over 40 years and served as a commander. Bill enjoyed sports; especially baseball and football. He loved traveling, camping and was a member of the Northern Utah Good Sam's Chapter. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Adell; his children, Jolyn (Clifford) McMullin, Jan (Gary) Hyde, Brent William Timmerman and Sandy (Grant) Price; 13 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren and one sister, Elaine Timmerman. He was preceded in death by his great-grandson, Noah Gabrielle Vaughn. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 12, 2014 at Myers Ogden Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, June 11th from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday, prior to the service from 9:40 to 10:40 a.m. Interment, Aultorest Memorial Park, 836 36th St.
