Afton (Grange) Anderson
July 31, 1925 ~ March 5, 2018 (age 92)
“Together Again”
Afton Grange Anderson, 92, passed away on Monday, March 5, 2018. She was born on July 31, 1925 in Ogden, Utah, the daughter of Joseph Drabble and Edna Newton Grange. She attended Ogden City School and graduated from Ogden High School.
She married Raymond Sheldon Anderson on August 14, 1946 in San Francisco, CA. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple on September 29, 1964.
Afton was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Plain City 2nd and Washington Terrace 10th Ward.  Her favorite calling was a visiting teacher.
She worked for a short time at the IRS. Afton enjoyed dancing with Dad, square dancing, and wintering with friends in Arizona.
Afton is survived by her children, Christine (Lincoln) Adams, South Weber; Bonnie Dawson, Roy; and Andrea Folkman, Farr West; Craig S. (Shirley) Anderson, Meridan, ID; and R. Sheldon Anderson, Plain City; 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death her husband, daughter, Debra Kay Anderson; son-in-law, Tim Folkman; grandson, Dax Adams; three brothers, and three sisters.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, March 9, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Rd. Friends may visit with family on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
There's still time to send flowers to the Visitation at the Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on March 8, 2018.
